The top pairs chevron veneer work on a dark ground with a central polylobed medallion and four corner spandrels. The floral motifs use hot-sand shading, which gives the decor a visible relief. The curved console legs are joined by a low X-stretcher set with a marquetry rosette. Two side drawers are concealed in the frieze.

Care

Dust with a soft dry cloth. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources, which make timber move. A colourless cabinetmaker's wax, twice a year, is enough to feed the finish. No silicone products, and no water on veneers or marquetry.
